By contrast, most cheap services operate on robot-style autopilot because they value bulk-processed speed. No one monitors these transfers, so tape problems that can be easily fixed aren't even caught. If your transfer matters, check if a transfer service has an automated process.

2. Transfers performed on broadcast-grade hardware
We use professional video decks and processors, which enable us to convert your tape accurately. Be aware that most transfer companies use consumer-grade equipment. But we believe that if you pay a service for a transfer, you should expect the work to be done on a high-quality setup, not on VCRs purchased at Walmart. 3. Editing out "dead" space on the video
Blue screen or static occurs between segments of recording, when the tape may have advanced a few seconds mechanically. Timeless DVD removes static and blue screen from your video, which is useful when we convert camcorder tape to DVD. This creates a smoother viewing experience. Many services do not take the time to do this, and will just run your tape to DVD as is.

4. Multiple tapes can be combined to a single DVD
Timeless DVD will combine as many tapes as you like to a single DVD, as long as the running time does not exceed 2 hours. In that way, we can provide the best price for you and the fewest number of DVDs. Many cheap services will only transfer "1 tape to 1 DVD," even for cassette to DVD transfer.

Timeless DVD provides a full-color cover and professional-grade Amaray DVD case with every order. We can even print a photo of your choice on the cover, and we offer DVD cases in a variety of colors. Most other companies often only provide a paper sleeve or CD jewel case for the disc, or do not customize the design in any personalized way like we do.

6. Exclusive use of Taiyo Yuden discs, with photo-quality, on-disc color printing
Not all blank discs are created equal. Timeless DVD only uses Taiyo Yuden discs, which are rated as one of the most compatible and long-lasting. Plus, they offer a beautiful glossy surface that's waterproof and scratch-free! Very transfer services use this type of high quality disc because of the cost, but cheaper discs have lower compatibility with DVD players and wear out quickly.

7. Customization options always available!
Most of the cheaper video companies do not allow customization or special requests from customers. But Timeless DVD offers many customization options. Choose your own custom chapter stops. Select music to replace the existing audio on the videotape. Write title screens and insert them in your footage. We can even edit our sections of your video for no extra charge!

8. Our Send a Box service!
Let's say you have a box of tapes for which you want to order a VCR DVD transfer. But you don't know what's on the tapes or how long they are. We can help! Simply give us your box. Most cheaper services only keep your DVD on hand for about 30 days, and some even now charge annually for their DVD archiving services! Timeless DVD only works on premises. Many of your so-called "local" services, such as those offered by drugstores or electronics/camera stores, ship tapes far away to be transferred – often to other states or even to India!
