If your first videotape is less than 2 hours long, you may choose to add footage from other tapes to the same DVD. You may transfer either an entire tape's contents or a specific section of videotape.

If your videotape is longer than 2 hours, an additional DVD transfer disc will be needed. An "Overflow DVD disc" is only half-price and a double DVD case will be provided free of charge. Black cases only.

Title Screens can be added at any point in your video. They are usually used to indicate new sections of video content. Titles are offered as white text on a black background. Click the screen at right to see a larger example.

DVD Transfer – Music Editing orders only. We custom-edit songs of your choice to silent film that has already been transferred to videotape or DVD. Please note that DVD Transfer–Music Editing projects require a $20 fee, which provides for the additional setup needed.

You may add a song of your choice to the Main Menu, and it will play continuously until a button is pressed. For Music Editing projects, you may use a song that is already in your project for no charge.

A Scene Selections menu features full-motion video buttons showing chapter points that you select and captions of your choice. Eight chapter stops are included; additional chapters are $2 each.

DVD copies are perfect-quality, exact duplicates of your original DVD, including full-color printed cover, printed disc, and professional DVD case.

We can also accommodate other special options. For example, this can include:
– A "first play" video clip to your DVD (a video that plays before the Main Menu)
– Additional menu screens, such as biography text screens for the bride and groom or a screen showing the wedding invitation
– Specialized video editing

Normal turnaround time for a DVD Video Transfer is 1–2 weeks. If your project is complex and requires multiple DVD discs, or you have a large number of videotapes to transfer, turnaround is closer to 2-3 weeks. Turnaround is 2–3 weeks for DVD Video Transfer–Music Editing projects.

Turnaround time is also longer if we need to assess the length of your videotapes first and provide an invoice prior to production.

We offer rush services with conditions and additional fees. We consider a rush order to be a video transfer that is needed within 1 week or less. A DVD transfer that includes one or two videotapes being transferred to one finished disc can be completed within 1 week for a 20% rush fee in addition to the total cost. For more complex projects and Music Editing projects, please contact us with your needs and we will advise as to what timeframe is possible.

Note that both regular turnaround and rush orders for videotape preservation depend on our current workload and the time of the year.
