Recently, the photo shown on the right
turned 100 years old. It was taken in 1909 of the ancestors
of the owner of Timeless DVD. In fact, the man with the
pipe at the left side is her great-grandfather!
If you're very lucky, you also have old photos like this
of your own family in your collection. They provide a fascinating
insight into who we are and where we come from. And they
are just darn fun to look at – especially in a DVD
slideshow video. Just imagine the "camera" panning
slowly across all the faces in that photograph!
A family history video traces a family's
background. We can elegantly combine photos, music, video
clips, informational titles and captions, and even voiceovers
for an audio-visual record of your family. A family history
book can be as dry as the paper it's written on. So turn
it into something that will be memorable for the entire
family now – as well as for future generations. A
genealogy DVD can help you elucidate the story of your
family in a way that papers and websites simply cannot.
As time passes and families change, family history can
become lost. When we look at an old photo, we may not
recall its significance. And if Grandma isn't around anymore,
the story behind that photograph may be lost forever. Don't
wait to compile your family's photos; preserve it now before
all the memories fade away. Preserving our grandparents,
parents, or ourselves on video tape, via a video transfer
to DVD, is often the best gift we can give future generations
of our families. |
